Brunch Date at Rustic Mornings by Isabelo

Brunch date at Rustic Mornings in Marikina

I am always fond of breakfast dates or brunch dates more than dinner dates. I really find it endearing having to spend your mornings with your partner! It’s actually our second time to eat at Rustic Mornings by Isabelo. Miguel and I had our first breakfast date here same time last year. It’s good to be back after a year! We also tried eating at Eggs for Breakfast Cafe in Antipolo.

Going to Rustic Mornings by car was pretty easy. When you arrive, you’ll probably have a problem with parking your car. It is not too spacious, so go there as early as you can! Don’t worry, though, the guards will help you in finding a space.

As soon as we arrived, the waiter asked us where we wanted to sit: in the garden or in an air-conditioned room. The first time we ate here, we seated in the garden. So, we decided to eat at this time.

The garden is a good choice, but I was scratching my legs almost the entire time because of the insects! Nonetheless, the ambiance still makes it a romantic date.

I ordered bacon, eggs, and herbed hash browns. I didn’t finish it all – aside from the fact that I don’t like eating tomatoes (I mean, look at the tomatoes! It’s too many. I tried eating all of it, but I failed. Lol), the 2 herbed hash browns is more than enough for me. I gave half of it to Miguel. And, of course, the bacon! I love bacon and I love how crispy the bacon is.

As usual, I ordered 1 bottomless iced tea. One glass costs Php 80 and the bottomless one costs Php 140. It’s cheaper to order a bottomless iced tea. Just have to make sure that you can finish at least 2 glasses of iced tea.

The area behind that door is where we ate. It’s air-conditioned, and it has a few tables only. Personally, I think that the place is well-suited for those who’ll eat with kids – the kids will definitely feel more comfortable.

The service is beyond par! The waiters are attentive; they could literally serve you within seconds despite having a lot of customers. We didn’t stay long; we are quite in a hurry so we left as soon as we finished the food.

But, wait! I took pictures of the place.

My favorite area in the parking lot: the succulents!

I am not a green-thumb and I have tried several attempts in trying to take care of succulents. Every succulent died on me! I know it was easy to take care of it, I can’t imagine how can a succulent die in my hands. Lol. So yeah, I get excited every time I see lots of succulents.

I have heard a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant, and I agree with everyone! It is a must-visit and could be a romantic place to have a date with your boyfriend/girlfriend or family.

Right after our brunch date, we went to Miguel’s house to rest for a while because we’re going to Taytay right after! Should I share my Taytay haul?

  1. TAYTAY HAUL PLS. And I love how the changes you’ve made in your blog!! I think I’d be a brunch person if I actually go out for breakfast/brunch. I can’t justify spending so much for bacon and eggs hehe. But the place definitely looks like it’ll be great for dates! <3

  2. I love the whole feel of the place! It’s rustic but also pretty, I’ll definitely keep this in mind when I go back to the Ph. Btw, I love your blog <3
